Below are the details about our first Champs Camp for Coaches with Tony Monzingo. This is the first of its kind in the nation as Tony is now focused on sharing his decades of successful coaching techniques and learnings with youth coaches nationwide.
The program will host up to 12 Indiana Youth Coaches who have exhibited a commitment to youth shooting programs and a competency level as a youth coach who want to improve their coaching abilities. The program will be led by NSCA Level 3 instructor and founder of Champs Camp, Tony Monzingo. Tony is a full-time instructor who has coached National, US Open, and World Championship Gold medalists. He has coached over 35 youth shooters to become All-American and members of team USA. A master’s degree in educational psychology and a law degree fuel his positive, Socratic teaching style that seeks the best in every competitor.
Tony is the former director of the National Sporting Clays Association and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015. He has positively impacted thousands of youth athletes over the years. He has turned his focus to passing on his methods to coaches who can continue to have a positive impact on student athletes for years to come.
